About Us
Where unity is common.
Where community is united.
Our Mission
Common Unity Arts exists to empower and uplift marginalized artists and communities by providing funding opportunities, mental and physical wellness programs, and educational workshops in areas like financial literacy and entrepreneurship. We also extend our support to individuals displaced by natural disasters or facing emergencies through relief funds and collaborative initiatives.
By fostering resilience, promoting equity, and creating a strong sense of belonging, we address the challenges of financial instability, isolation, and systemic barriers. Our work is made possible through community events, grants, sponsorships, and donations, ensuring that artists and those in need have the resources to thrive personally and professionally.
“At the end of the day, all we have are the clothes on our backs, the air in our lungs, and the love of our community.”
— Iman Europe
What We Do
About Us
Common Unity is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by Iman Europe and based in Inglewood, California. Our mission is to empower communities, rebuild lives, and foster spaces of belonging and resilience for those most in need. We are deeply committed to supporting the wellness and well-being of individuals, particularly artists, marginalized groups, and those displaced by natural disasters or emergencies. Our work is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and the belief that thriving communities begin with holistic care and connection.
At CommonUnity, wellness and well-being are at the core of everything we do. We host bi-monthly wellness-focused events in partnership with Burn Cycling, providing opportunities for community members to recharge, connect, and grow in a supportive environment. Through giveaways, food drives, and resource-sharing initiatives, we also ensure local families and individuals have access to the essentials they need to maintain stability and rebuild during challenging times.
As California continues to face increasing natural disasters and widespread displacement, we’ve launched targeted initiatives like the California Relief Fund to provide immediate and long-term assistance. By combining community-driven efforts, wellness-focused programs, and meaningful partnerships, we aim to create lasting impact and help individuals rebuild with dignity, care, and strength.
At CommonUnity, we are dedicated to creating a culture of wellness and well-being that strengthens communities, uplifts individuals, and inspires lasting change. Together, we can build a brighter, healthier future for all.
